Le Refuge des Fondus

Le Refuge des Fondus
This tiny place in Montmarte is full of character. Crowded with a mix of locals and tourists, it has a fun gimmick of fondue and oh, serving wine in baby bottles (something about sticking it to the man on a tax on wine glass).
After Chloe and Bethany climbed over the table to sit, the appropiately gruff waiter didn't ask us what we wanted to order aside from -
"Viande ou fromage?"
"Rouge ou Blanc?"

The aperitif was tasty, nothing special but a nice mix.
mmm, stir, stir le frommage
their namesake was really delicious - but I mean, its
[[meeelllted chheesssssse]]
Excellent cuts of beef

(((((sorry for the baby bottle photoshoot))))

Overall, I would recommend (I guess most of the places I like enough to post about I would recommend), it is a good place for a fun evening in a convivial atmosphere. Plus, after dinner, you are close to a number a great bars and clubs (Le Mansart, Pallidium, Le Carmen) to choose from!
