The Pantheon at Night

Passed by the Pantheon last night walking home on Rue Saint Jacques. It's origin stems from when King Louis XV was ill and vowed that if he recovered, he would replace the ruins of the Sainte-Genevieve church with a edifice worthy of the patron saint of Paris, thus he ordered the construction of the new neoclassical Eglise Sainte-Genevieve, today the Pantheon.

It is really incredible how saturated Paris is with amazing buildings like this neoclassical masterpiece.
