Musee du Vin

The Musee du Vin, the Wine Museum, is a nice little treat. Located in the 16th arrondissement, it is a small cave of everything wine related.
One of the most interesting things at the museum - a beautiful and incredible well-preserved cup from the 4th century. The 4th century!
More after the jump
There are many strange and rather creepy wax figures hidden in corners - watch out for them!
The show the evolution of the tool's of wine making...

A 17th century flask.
More wax figures - these represented the men that would come together to rate wine in the 18th century.
Would I recommend it? Yes, but only if you have a lot of time. If you were limited however, I would say skip it in favor of Musee l'Orangerie and the other more fabulous museums.
