Of course when you are exploring a new city, you want to see the night life. Only it is hard to know where to go, to avoid the tourist traps of over priced drinks in contrived bars devoid of locals. If you are in Rome, just go to the Testaccio.

Our Uruguayan friends we made.
Packed with bars, we ended up at Rome on the Rocks, and had so much fun. Very cheap drinks, such great music, nice staff that helped me find the best sandwich of my life (I absolutely mean that - Italian meats oooh my). Would have liked to explore this area more!
