Refraction

An enormous rainbow encased the train on the journey north to Paris.

Tiny droplets of water capturing the sunlight and refracting it.

Each droplet within the arc is refracting and dispersing the entire visible light spectrum.

The color we see is dependent on the angle of refraction relative to our view point.

As Chloe and I are trying to find joy in our last days of Paris 

(the level of denial is very, very deep)

 blowing bubbles out of our big windows into our blooming courtyard is a good distraction.

Beach House at La Maroquinerie

Christina and I managed to get ourselves into the sold-out Beach House show at La Maroquinerie in the 20eme.

---Boy, was it worth it---

It was such a relaxed show with a really solid set. And they played for a long time! 

ps - La Maroquinerie is a very cool place. Go early for a show and enjoy a libation in their usually packed courtyard before heading down to small-in-a-good-way concert hall.

Champagne in Plein Aire

Go hang out in the Musée de la sculpture en Plein Aire on a sunny day.

With champagne.
