On My Walk Home

Sometimes, I just can't believe where I live.
And that I've worked so hard to make it as lovely as it right now feels.
But I can believe it, because I don't think I should be anywhere else.

Severed yet relaxed.
(I hope to achieve this when my life is split on June 30th).

The Artist's Garden at Giverny

Okay, so anyone who knows me can tell you I love flowers (like seriously - it can be a near debilitating distraction when I am walking around). I also happen to love Monet.
The Artist's Garden at Giverny was a literal dream come true.

{this combination of blue and pink!}
More, and more, and more flowers.

A Picnic of Epic Proportions

We are girls that like to eat.
And after the train and bike travel, we were hungry!
{and thirsty. Rose champagne - yes please!}
Luckily, we had packed a picnic, an enormous picnic.
For my part, I made my own version this Tune Nicoise Sandwich and I also made a barbecue chicken (quite I hit, I would do a recipe post but I can't stand the way my point-and-shoot does food shots!) for sandwiches.
Such a nice time with the best girls.
Alyssa quite cute and composed.
Sophie brought this beautiful brioche for desert .
((Satiated, very happy and ready to enter the world of Monet))

Fat Cat found a new Spot

Our courtyard cat found a new perch.
And look how peaceful he looks!

Such a tranquil dream ||

Lady 1000 Bulles

Bulles = Bubbles
A champagne tasting.!
 Upon the occasion of Bethany being in town, we decided to do a champagne tasting at Lady 1000 Bulles.
 Nestled in the 17eme, the shop is a cozy little place, lined with champagne bottles, red velvet chairs and lounges. And an amazing, incredibly practical chandelier.
The tasting consisted of four glasses
