Vivez la Langue!

C'est trop mignon.
I love the little picturesque moments, the macaron shots!
(and the typography, wow!)

Getting to Giverny

Step 1: Take the SNCF train from Gare Saint Lazare to Vernon. Arrive in quaint, adorable little town.
[Cost: 13euro.]
 Rent bikes!
[Cost: 10euro.]
 (it was sprinkling and I had to do a little bit of persuading to get everyone on a bike but in the end, flying on two wheels in the French country side... everyone was happy)
Cross over the river out of Vernon.

_________ was here.

Monet's dining room.
{I wonder who he hosted here?}

Maroon & Gold

 University of Minnesota flowers
{has it really been two years since I graduated?}
It feels like nothing and it feels like forever ago in the same moment.
Life, love, location, vocation have all changed.
Will I keep up this rate?

Blue & Copper

||| A particularly inspiring color palette in Monet's kitchen in Giverny. |||
I squealed with delight when I entered, so visually pleasing!
(who am I kidding, I was audibly tickled by beauty all day.)
For all the time I spend in the kitchen, it would be amazing to have one with such positive energy.

Life Lately... According to my Instagram

1.Beautiful pink peonies at the Place Monge Market (open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings)
2. Getting my Alfafa on with the Eiffel Tower
3. Empire State of Paris
4. Champagne + Heineken - {good for a post-wedding party bus}
5. Morrocan lamps in the 15eme
6. Cheerful yellow reception. Notice the bunting? I made it!

From Monet's Window

[[From the artist's window of his Giverny home]]
The Artist Garden at Giverny.
An absolute dream.
(ps - I took 400 pictures today. Yep, 400. I was falling deeply in love with everything I was seeing. So lots more to come!)
